Ultranet transfer to X32 Rack

Preamble

Currently (2.04 firmware), the only way to route the Ultranet bus from an external X32 (eg. FOH) to the Ultranet port at the back of the X32 Rack is by assigning the signals as inputs, then assigning to the P16.

By default, Ultranet is routed through AES50 via channels 33-48.

Use Rack port A for AES50 connection.

Goto the Rack Routing screen

Input Setup

Ultranet (AES50 ch 33-48) - assign to inputs (17-32).

  • Home, Inputs 17-24 -> AES50 A33-40
  • Home, Inputs 25-32 -> AES50 A41-48

Output Setup

P16 output - assign the following

Routing, P16 out screen

  • P16 Out 01 >> DirOut Ch 17 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 02 >> DirOut Ch 18 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 03 >> DirOut Ch 19 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 04 >> DirOut Ch 20 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 05 >> DirOut Ch 21 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 06 >> DirOut Ch 22 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 07 >> DirOut Ch 23 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 08 >> DirOut Ch 24 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 09 >> DirOut Ch 25 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 10 >> DirOut Ch 26 (IN/LC)
  • P16 Out 11 >> DirOut Ch 27 (IN/LC)
